Privacy
A plain-language summary of what GiveKrate collects today. This page has not yet gone through formal legal review — treat it as a starting point, not a finished policy.
Account data
If you sign in, GiveKrate stores your email address and display name, and — if you sign in with a password rather than Google, Microsoft, or Apple — a securely hashed password. Signing in with an OAuth provider shares only what that provider gives us (typically your name and email).
Searching and browsing
Searching for a need on the public site doesn't require an account. Search terms and an approximate location (if you share one, to find needs near you) are used only to return results.
Error reporting
When enabled, GiveKrate reports application errors to help us fix real problems. This can include technical details about what went wrong, not the content of what you were donating or searching for.
